	Dr. Robert McBride Hello! In 1989, I decided to build my own website to offer information about my special dental practice, because it is unique in so many ways. The people shown on this page are a large part of what makes it that way. It was developed to offer easy navigation to an array of subjects that describe its uniqueness. I believed back then that it could be very useful for anyone who is interested in coming on board as a patient, in differentiating us from the multitude of dental practices that exist in the Southland. This has proven to be true, as new patients who travel from near and far indicate how helpful it was in making a decision. All the information that is linked from the Home Page has been authored by me, and the Dictionary of Terms and Services offers information on most all dental topics, and has an internal search engine to assist you in finding specific information you may be seeking. So, welcome aboard and enjoy the trip!
Karen Chitwood I am proud to be Dr. McBride’s office manager and enjoy being part of such a caring environment. We have a great dental team that works well together making sure that every client experiences optimal care. I graduated from the Cerritos College Dental program and have spent over 28 years serving dental patients. I recognize and appreciate quality dentistry, and am happy to be associated with such a fine dental practice. I have been happily married for more than 28 years, and am the mother of one daughter and three sons. If you have spare time, ask me about my 3 grandchildren. My hobbies include reading, quilting, crafting, and spending time with my grandkids. Other interests include volunteering in local schools, camping with family, and listening to jazz and big bands. Did I mention my grandkids?
	Blanca Ozuna Hello! My name is Blanca, and I am an RDA (Registered Dental Assistant). I work closely with Dr. McBride and make sure that dental treatment is carried out comfortably and smoothly. I received my Registered Dental Assistant license through the dental assistant training program at Concord University in 1993. I am the proud mother of two daughters. I enjoy the outdoors, movies and love to read. I enjoy working with Dr. McBride and oversee the maintenance of our equipment and dental supplies. I make sure that the clinical area is spotless, as well as enforcing OSHA standards to a higher than standard level. My work is fascinating in that I continue to learn something new everyday from Dr McBride. Time seems to fly when we are working together. One important thing I have discovered is that his philosophy and our environment offers me opportunity to be myself and really enjoy what I’m doing. This I do through impeccable preparation. This gives me the confidence to be “in the moment” as I interact with our clients, as caring for our clients prior, during and after treatment is my most important task
Timbrey Lind Hello, my name is Timbrey and I am a Dental Hygienist. I feel extremely fortunate to be working at Dr. McBride’s office and to be part of such an extraordinary team. His practice is filled with genuinely caring patients and a fun-loving staff. I look forward to every day and what it has to offer both you and me. I am originally from Santa Barbara County, where I was a dental assistant for five years before I went to dental hygiene school. I attended a dental hygiene program in Visalia, CA at a private college called San Joaquin Valley College. The program took me sixteen months to complete, as opposed to regular dental hygiene programs that take twenty-four months. It was tough but worth it. I graduated from college in September, 2008 with an Associate in Science degree. On weekends, if I am not visiting my family in Santa Barbara, I am enjoying my new home in Huntington Beach. I love outdoor activities including: running on the beach, snowboarding, and playing softball. I also enjoy reading. I love what I do and I look forward to growing professionally and personally in an office like Dr. McBride’s. It is refreshing to work with people who truly care about their patients and I am excited to be a part of it.
	Jean Zirkle I am Dr. McBride’s bookkeeper, and besides keeping our creditors happy, I provide Dr. McBride with information that allows him to manage the business of the practice. My husband Dave and I have two children, Kyle and Nicole. I enjoy reading and many family activities. I am very hands-on in the remodeling of our beautiful home. Would you believe knocking down walls and tiling bathrooms and kitchen tops?
Leanne Sabo I am enjoying my new position as the Education and Marketing Director. My job is to introduce the Dental Wellness Center to the community. It is easy to promote my father, Robert McBride, because I believe that he is the most talented, professional, and caring holistic dentist you will find anywhere. He is extremely dedicated to his clients and believes that education is the key to offering total wellness. He has mastered dentistry and loves what he does. One of his favorite sayings is: “When your purpose becomes defined, your work becomes a recreational activity.” I graduated from Cal State University of Long Beach with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. I have worked with Dr. McBride throughout the past 20 years and truly appreciate just how special this office is. My husband Rudy and I have two sons, Sean and Derek. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy running and the outdoors. I also devote time to my non-profit program called the WIG Foundation, a wine business that raises funds for wigs for women that have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. What could be better than helping others while enjoying great wine, family and friends? Life is good!
